7.0/10

I recently stayed at the Rome Times Hotel for four nights, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with a fantastic central location that made exploring Rome easy. The cleanliness of the hotel stood out, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. However, I faced a few issues, including slow Wi-Fi in my room and a somewhat lackluster breakfast selection. Despite these drawbacks, I would consider returning due to the hotel’s charm and service.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean and modern, with a complimentary stocked minibar, which was a good touch. However, the size did not match my expectations based on the booking description, as it felt a bit cramped for a family of four.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and attentive, often going out of their way to assist me. However, my experience with the reception during an air conditioning issue was less than satisfactory, as the response felt a bit dismissive at first.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location was absolutely perfect for accessing all major tourist attractions, making it easy to walk to places like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. I truly appreciated being near so much history and charm.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast options were not the best, as the food seemed to sit out too long and appeared stale, while the coffee was decent but not fantastic. I often ended up just having bread and honey, hoping for a fresher selection.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offers several nice facilities, including a bar area with skilled bartenders, though the prices were quite high. I did enjoy the complimentary smartphone, which helped me navigate the city easily.

My stay at Rome Times Hotel was fantastic overall, thanks to its prime location and attentive staff. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring major attractions like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, making sightseeing a breeze. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast spread. Unfortunately, I did experience some minor inconveniences, such as a temporary power outage that affected the air conditioning during my stay.

Rooms
8.0
I stayed in a nicely appointed room that was clean and modern, offering a complimentary minibar on the first night (which was a lovely surprise). Although my room was somewhat small, it was comfortable and well-maintained throughout my stay.
Service
10.0
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, particularly Andrea who assisted me via email before my arrival. I felt truly appreciated when they went out of their way to retrieve my lost camera bag. Their proactive approach to guest service made my experience even better.
Location

The hotel's location is a major highlight for me, being within walking distance to all the historical attractions. I could easily stroll to the main sights and enjoy the vibrant surroundings of Rome, which made my exploration much more enjoyable.
Dining

I loved the breakfast options available each morning; the variety offered something for everyone, from scrambled eggs to a good cake corner. There was even a hot drink machine that kept the coffee flowing.
Facilities

The hotel's amenities were impressive as well—especially the complimentary smartphone that made navigating the city so much easier. Additionally, there was a well-decorated rooftop terrace where I could unwind after a day of sightseeing.

I had a fantastic stay at Rome Times Hotel! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Colosseum and other attractions. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make my family feel welcome. While the complimentary mini bar was a nice touch, it could have offered more than just sparkling water. Overall, a great experience for a boutique hotel!

Rooms
9.0
My room was clean, spacious, and modern with a nice boutique feel. Although the bathroom door was a bit odd with its frosted sliding glass, it didn't take away from my comfort during the stay.
Service

The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, providing helpful recommendations and handling our luggage when we arrived early. Their warm smiles really made a difference.
Location

The location couldn't have been better! It was easy to reach the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, plus there were great restaurants and shops nearby.

The hotel offered nice amenities, like a complimentary smartphone for navigation, which was a handy addition while exploring Rome. However, a few more details about room services would have been helpful.

I had a mixed experience at the Rome Times Hotel. The location was fantastic and super convenient for exploring the city, but I faced some issues with the room quality and breakfast selection, which didn’t quite match my expectations for the price I paid.

Rooms
5.0
I started in what was supposed to be a Junior Suite, but it felt like a standard room and wasn't as spacious as advertised. After some complaints, I was moved to a different room which was much better, but the overall inconsistency was frustrating.
Service
7.0
The staff were really friendly and accommodating, but there were some communication hiccups regarding my requests before arrival. They did their best to help me, but it would’ve been smoother.
Location
9.0
The location was a highlight for sure! It was close enough to all the major sights, and I loved that it was nestled on a quieter street with some awesome local eateries nearby.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast buffet had a good variety, but I felt it could've been a bit better for the price. I was expecting more options and some items came with extra charges which was a letdown.
Facilities
6.0
I enjoyed the complimentary smartphone for navigating around the city, but I found the lack of accessibility in the hotel corridors quite challenging when traveling with a pram.

My experience at Rome Times Hotel had its ups and downs. The location is perfect for exploring key attractions, and I appreciated the friendly staff who went out of their way to assist me. However, the cleanliness of my room left much to be desired, as I found dust and mold, which significantly impacted my overall impression.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was small and dusty, with poor bathroom conditions, including mold near the shower. It felt overpriced for the quality I received.
Service
5.0
The staff was friendly and attempted to help, but my concerns were not addressed adequately. When I raised issues regarding the room, the response from management felt aggressive.
Location
9.0
The hotel's proximity to the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain was definitely a highlight, making it easy to explore Rome on foot.
Dining
7.0
I found the breakfast options extensive with a variety of fresh foods, but overall, it didn't quite make up for the issues in my room.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities included a bar area, but my experience was marred by the ongoing cleaning issues and lack of basic amenities like consistent tea and coffee service.
